Co-Curriculum

'CABCIN-3RD Info Day' was organized by Parul University on 20^th April, 2019 at Hotel Sayaji, Near Parsi Agyari, Sayajigunj, Vadodara. It was 2 hour programme from 6:30 to 8:45 pm. About 50 School Principals, teachers and Managing Directors attended the programme. It ended with group session , few activities and delicious dinner. It was attended by Mrs. Sheela Pandey and Mrs. Jaishree Moorjani.

Heart fullness is an organization working for the mental peace of people. Two days Training workshop was organized on 6th and 7th April, 2019 at Heart fullness Office, Gorwa, Vadodara. Our teacher Mrs. Yogita Barai attended the workshop and learnt the techniques of building relationship with students and the ways to become heart full teacher.

Our School has arranged a meeting of Alumni Association on 29-4-2019 (Monday) at the Bhaoo Lilaram Hall of the school. This was held to refresh the old memories of students with their alma mater and share their experiences with one another. The old teachers were also invited on this auspicious day. About 300 old students attended the meeting. Old retired teachers were honoured bt the students with shawl and gifts.

The old teachers meeting of Shri Ladharam Sind Hindu High School was held on 23-03-2019 (Saturday) in the teachers room of Shri Ladharam English Medium School. About 15 teachers and staff members attended the meeting to share their memories and experiences at the school and also to render their services and suggestions for the development of the school.

Meeting of Swachchata Abhiyan was sponsored and conducted by Adani group on 22-11-2018 at Medical Campus of SSG hospital,Vadodara. Our teachers Mrs. Kiran Salat, Preeti Wadhwani and Jayshree Moorjani attended the meeting and learnt the techniques to teach the students about cleaning habits and making their class and surrounding clean, Banners and literatures related to cleaning projects were given to the schools.

As a part of Swachchata Abhiyan project, the regular observation of classes was done for one month, based on 5 categories, class cleanliness, clean and proper uniform of students, less torn paper and waste thrown in dustbins, class decorations, speech and behaviour etiquettes of students. On the basis of observations by a team of three teachers, best classes were awarded prize. This way the students were inculcated the habit of cleaning.

This competition was conducted in the month of August, 2018. Many students from grade 1^st to 11^th participated and won gold medal and participation certificate.

It was conducted on 21-07-2018. It is a inter-school competition organised by Mother Teresa Society, Aurangabad. Many students of our school from grade 1^st to 11^th took part in it and won medals and certificates.

Ladharam Essay Competition was held for Secondary and Higher Secondary students in our school. It was an inter-school essay competition and circulated to about 20 nearby schools of Baroda. There were 2 groups, one for 9^th & 10^th and the second for 11^th & 12^th. Two participants from each school were allowed for entry. The topics for essay competition were -

1. Swachhata Abhiyan
2. Vadodara & its Sanskriti
3. Books are my best friend

About five schools took part. The best essays were scrutinized and cash prizes of 500/- (I), 300/- (II), 200/- (III) & 3 consolation prizesof 100/- each was given to the winners on 31^st December 2018, during the annual day programme.

Institute of Counselor Training Research and Consultancy organizes Regional Summit of Schools Principals as a strengthening school counselling initiative programme on 16-02-2018 (Friday), "At Risk - Identification, Prevention and Intervention" was attended by Mrs. Sheela Pandey at Hotel Gateway, Akota Gardens, Vadodara. Also on 30-08-2018 (Thursday) "Dealing with Failures-Developing Resilience in school children" was attended by Mrs. Sheela Pandey and Mrs. Jayshree Moorjani at the Anand Niketan, Sughad Campus, Gandhinagar. It was a very vast and fruitful experience.
